Beta Experience: I have been beta-reading fanfiction for over a year now. In addition, I was the Features Editor of my school paper.

Lengths Of Fanfiction I Will Beta Read: Under 5,000 words, 5,000 to 15,000 words, 15,000 to 25,000 words, 25,000 to 50,000 words and 50,000 to 100,000 words.
My Strengths: Briticisms, Canon/Consistency, Characterisation, Grammar & Spelling, Plot, Point of View and Preventing Melodrama.
Additional Strength Information: I am very good with canon consistency. I have something of a photographic memory, so I don't forget the little details.
I am a stickler for good characterization, and I'll do my utmost to make sure that your characters don't get all muddled. We want them to be themselves.
I am very good at grammar and spelling. I've taken AP English classes; I write stories, essays, etc. I have a massive vocabularly--so if you're worried about whether or not you've chosen the right word, I can definitely help you there.
I will make sure that you stay in one point of view. In fact, I insist on it. It's easier to connect with a story that way.
And plot, well, I'm very active in this area. I will tell you what doesn't work and why it doesn't work. I will also offer alternate suggestions, and I will make myself available as a sounding board to the people I beta for.
I use Word 2007 to beta, and utilize the "Track Changes" feature so that changes can be easily seen.
Note: For "Predicted Length" I want the estimated word count for the entire story as a whole.
Beta Style: Brutally honest With Comprehensive Critique
Time Taken To Return A 4000 Word Document: Depending on the story, usually 2-3 days.
Additional Comments: I will not beta-read: graphic non-con, dub-con, molestation, graphic abuse, excessive profanity, bestiality, self-harm, or body-swapping stories.
I'm also not very fond of drug use, smoking, or the excessive use of alcohol.
I loathe second person point of view.
I will request a sample of the story, itself, to see if it's something that interests me. It's hard to work on something I don't find interesting.
Please send a minimum of ten pages (please send the whole story if it's less than ten pages), in either .odt, .docx, .doc, or .rtf format.
