The next testing period begins on 1st November, 2011

Thank you for your interest in becoming an official PI beta reader. You must be at least thirteen years of age to apply, and before you can be listed in our directory you must pass a simple test that will give us a general idea of your abilities. There are also a few standards we ask all PI Beta Readers to uphold. They are as follows:

Once you fill out the form, you will recieve your test, attached in a ".doc" or ".rtf" format. You will have one month exactly from the date and time you recieve the test to complete it. The specific instructions for completing it will be included in your email.

The test is designed to test your knowledge of canon, as well as your ability to find and correct mistakes of characterization, spelling, grammar (British English), and plot. In addition, any comments you make in regards to style will be considered when the test is corrected.

If you fail the test, you must wait until the next testing period to apply again. You will recieve detailed information about the mistakes you made, and we will be glad to assist you as much as possible before the next testing period.

If you were listed in the directory previously, you'll unfortunately have to pass another test to be added back. We will work as quickly as possible to have the tests corrected, and will notify you of your grade as soon as possible.

If you would like to become a Beta Reader for any fandom other than the Harry Potter fandom, please disregard this form and contact us.
